Terms and Conditions

These terms are an agreement between you and Xylvir Technologies Corp. ("UniDeals", "we", "us"), the company behind the UniDeals app and website. By creating an account or using UniDeals, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use UniDeals.

About UniDeals

UniDeals is a student discount platform. We help verified students discover discounts offered by partner stores around their campus, save deals, find them on a map, and collect loyalty stamps.

UniDeals is a platform and intermediary. The discounts are provided and honored by the partner stores, not by UniDeals. See "Deals and partner stores" below.

Who can use UniDeals

UniDeals is for verified students. You must provide accurate information and keep one account per person.

You must be at least 18 years old to use UniDeals. We verify your date of birth during student verification, and we may suspend or close an account if we find the account holder is under 18.

Your account and student verification

To unlock student deals you verify your student status with your student ID. You are responsible for the activity on your account and for keeping your login and PIN secure.

We may refuse, suspend, or revoke verification or access if information is inaccurate, if you are not eligible, or if we detect fraud or misuse.

What UniDeals is, and what it is not

UniDeals shows you discounts and connects you to partner stores. We do not sell the food, drinks, clothing, or other goods and services featured in deals. Those are sold by the partner store.

Any purchase you make at a partner store is a transaction between you and that store, subject to the store's own terms, pricing, and policies. UniDeals is not a party to it and is not responsible for a partner's products or services, or for honoring a deal.

Membership and payments

UniDeals membership is currently free. There is nothing to pay to browse or claim deals today.

If we introduce a paid membership in the future, it will run for 12 months and renew automatically. We will clearly disclose the price and auto renewal before you pay, ask for your separate agreement to auto renew, remind you at least 14 days before each renewal, and let you cancel easily in the app. Payments will be processed by our payment provider, PayMongo, and we do not store your full card details.

Deals and partner stores

Deals depend on partner availability and may change, sell out, or expire. A partner store may set its own conditions for a deal, for example a minimum spend or specific hours.

We work to keep deal information accurate, but we do not guarantee that every deal is available at every moment, and we are not liable for a partner's decision to change or stop a deal.

Using UniDeals responsibly

Please do not misuse UniDeals. In particular: do not provide false verification details, do not forge, share, or sell student verification or deal, stamp, and redemption codes, do not try to access other accounts or our systems without authorization, and do not scrape or resell access to UniDeals.

Our content and brand

The UniDeals name, logo, app, and content are owned by us or our licensors. We grant you a limited, personal, non transferable license to use the app and website for their intended purpose. You may not copy or reuse our brand or content without permission.

Disclaimers and limits on liability

UniDeals is provided "as is". To the extent allowed by law, we are not liable for issues arising from partner stores or from your use of a deal, and our total liability to you is limited as permitted by Philippine law.

Nothing in these terms removes rights you have as a consumer under Philippine law, including the Consumer Act.

Suspension and ending your use

You can stop using UniDeals and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you breach these terms or misuse the service.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make a material change, we will let you know in the app or by email and ask you to review the updated terms. Continuing to use UniDeals after a change means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. Disputes will be handled by the courts of Cebu City, without limiting any right you have to raise a consumer complaint with the appropriate government agency.
