Refund & Cancellation Policy

This policy explains refunds and cancellations for charges made by UniDeals. It is written to be clear and fair, in line with Philippine consumer-protection rules for online services.
1. What this policy covers
This policy covers only charges made by UniDeals for your membership. It does not cover anything you buy at a partner store — those purchases follow the partner store’s own refund policy.
2. Membership is currently free
Right now, UniDeals membership is free, so there is nothing to refund. The sections below apply if and when we introduce a paid membership.
3. When a paid membership starts
If you buy a paid membership, your access begins as soon as your payment is successful.
4. 7-day money-back
You can cancel within 7 days of any charge — your first purchase or a renewal — and get a full refund.
5. Auto-renewal and reminders
A paid membership is annual and renews automatically. We tell you this before you pay and ask for your separate agreement, and we remind you at least 14 days before each renewal. You can cancel at any time in the app; canceling before the renewal date stops the next charge. If we ever fail to send you the pre-renewal reminder, you can cancel and get a full refund of that renewal.
6. Canceling after the 7 days
You can still cancel at any time after the 7-day window. Your membership stays active until the end of the period you paid for, and on request we provide a pro-rated refund for the unused full months remaining.
7. What is not refundable
Purchases you make at partner stores, and any free or promotional credits, are not refundable by UniDeals.
8. Duplicate or incorrect charges
If you were charged twice or in error, we’ll refund it in full to your original payment method. The time it takes to appear depends on PayMongo and your bank.
9. How to request a refund
Email [support@…] with your account email and the transaction reference. We aim to respond within [5–7 business days]. Canceling is as easy as signing up — we don’t use tricks to make it hard.
